Terms and Conditions
1.
Terms
All reservations with Emma Wright & ‘The Wright Catering Co’ are made upon and subject to the following
Terms and Conditions and no variation thereof will be accepted unless agreed in writing by Emma Wright & ‘The Wright
Catering Co’.
2.
Interpretation
In the Terms and Conditions, ‘The Wright Catering Co’ means Emma Wright
& ‘The Wright Catering Co’ and ‘the Client’ means the person, firm or company booking the event.
3.
Booking
Our company details will be sent out to the client following a client’s initial enquiry. These are only
an outline of the company’s services available. Each client enquiry is discussed with each individual client at a mutually
arranged meeting. A quotation will be sent to the client following a client meeting outlining the function/Wedding reception
details, inclusive of any hire charges.
4.
Deposit
On acceptance of a quotation a non-refundable deposit is payable immediately. This is deducted from your final
invoice. The deposit required will be outlined in your initial quotation letter. For Corporate and Company Clients from whom
a deposit is not received please read deposit and cancellation clause 8.
5.
Wedding/Event
Planning Charges
Wedding Reception and Events over 100 guests will incur a charge of £500.00 as a planning charge for the function,
this will be payable with the deposit and is non returnable, unless an official wedding/ Events planner is appointed by the
client, and then written details of the planner are required by The Wright Catering
Co.
6.
Numbers
Prices are quoted on the estimate provided by the client of the number of guests attending the function. The
guaranteed number of guests must be communicated by telephone to The Wright Catering Co. not less than 7days prior to the
event. The client will be charged on the basis of the guaranteed number of guests (or the number of persons for which the
event was originally booked if no guaranteed number is provided) or the total number of guests attending, whichever is to
be greater.
7.
Special
Items
The Wright Catering Co. reserve the right to charge for the provision of special items (such as kitchen equipment)
in addition to any costs agreed between The Wright Catering Co. and the Client. All staff supplied by The Wright Catering
Co. are supplied on a minimum 4 hour booking; quotations for staff will be included in your quotation
8.
Deposit/
Cancellation
All deposits are non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances, as a duty in kind, The Wright Catering Co. is
willing to carry over the deposit to either rebook the function or for a future function booking. The Wright Catering Co.
reserves the right to decide on the exceptional circumstance. For Corporate Clients and Companies from whom no deposit has
been received, should the booking be cancelled less than 21 day before the booking, an
invoice for ½ the function catering estimate will be payable.
9.
Charitable
Fund-raising Events
Deposits taken on a Charity fund-raising function will be 50% of
the initial enquiry quotation fee and the client is required to supply The Wright Catering Co. with final ticket sales numbers
14 days prior to the event. Should the event be cancelled due to lack of ticket sales, the full deposit will be non-returnable.
Final numbers taken on Charity fund-raising event functions will be the number that the final invoice is worked on; we can
not accept changes to the numbers after your final numbers have been taken 14 days prior to the event.
10.
Payment
The cost of the function will be billed either14 days prior to the function or on delivery and is payable within 7 days of the function. Payment should be made either
by: personal or business cheque, cash or direct transfer. Payable to The Wright Catering
Company. Payment by direct transfer is by prior arrangement at the quotation acceptance stage. Late payment will result
in an addition of £25.00 or 10%, which ever is greater, of the outstanding of the amount and a review of the account and future
bookings with Emma Wright. Emma Wright reserves the right to cancel a booking without prior notice if payments are received
late.
11.
Menus
and Services
Emma Wright & The Wright Catering Co. reserves the right to vary its prices, menus, services and any of
its terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
12.
Hire
equipment and Client Hire services
All hire equipment and hire services offered by The Wright Catering will be on the recommended Hire Company’s
terms and conditions, The Wright Catering co. will not be responsible for any breakages of hire company equipment, Crockery,
Cutlery and Glasses, Unless hired by The Wright Catering Co. for their own purpose of use to carry out the function. The Wright Catering Co. will not be responsible for any services employed by the Client
that are not directly related to The Wright Catering Co. Payment to the Hire company will be direct unless stated in your
initial quotation, payment is on delivery.
13.
Value
added Tax
The Wright Catering Co. is
currently a non-VAT registered company.
